A Fayette-area barn had to be torn down as the result of a fire over the weekend.
WLKI says it happened around 4:30 on Sunday afternoon at a family farm on C.R. N.
Fire crews from multiple departments arrived to find flames shooting through the roof of the barn — the same structure which WTOL says experienced a large fire this past October.
The family was able to get several goats out of the barn, but a number of chickens died. No humans were injured in the blaze.
Around 5:45, it was determined that the structure had to come down.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause.
