A Union City man was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase Wednesday night.
At around 7:50 PM that evening, A U.C.P.D. officer attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Kyle Arrasmith of Union City. Police say he was speeding down Broadway Street, and his vehicle appeared to lack functional tail lights.
Arrasmith turned onto Adolph Rd., then onto Girard, twice leaving the roadway at speeds in excess of 100 MPH. He attempted to turn onto Arbogast, but lost control and crashed.
He walked away from the scene with no injuries and is now in the Branch County Jail on charges of fleeing and eluding police.
