26-year-old David Lawrence of Edon has been sentenced for sexual conduct with a minor and drug charges.
According to the Bryan Times, Lawrence was indicted by a grand jury in October on four first-degree counts of rape for incidents that took place between May and July of 2017.
At the time, he had already been indicted for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
The rape charges were later amended, and Lawrence pleaded guilty in December.
He’s been sentenced to 30 months behind bars on third-degree felony charges over complicity to aggravated drug trafficking and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor without force.
He’s been given credit for 106 days already served, and will be registered as a Tier 2 sex offender.
