by Josh Colletta

After four hours of deliberation, a jury last week found 30-year-old Demetrius Jenkins guilty on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance causing death — that according to the Adrian Daily Telegram.

Jenkins turned himself in late last year after a probable cause filing accused him of selling heroin to a person who had asked for cocaine.

The buyer — 25-year-old Milton Reynolds — and a second man, 30-year-old Joshua Torres, died in the Summer of 2018 due to overdoses caused by the heroin that Jenkins sold.

Jenkins will be sentenced on November 1st. He could face up to life in prison.
